Air Travel

Travel for veterans is probably one of the hardest resources to access, but there are a few organizations willing to help out.

Veterans Airlift Command Travel Request

        Description: Travel request for the Veterans Airlift Command organization.


Air Compassion for Veterans

www.aircompassionforveterans.org

         Description: This organization will fly wounded warriors, veterans, and family members to places where they can receive medical treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation services.

 

TSA's Military Severly Injured Program

http://www.tsa.gov/research/civilrights/wounded_warrior.shtm

        Description: At any major airport, TSA will help disabled veterans get through the airport with ease. For assistance, call 1-888-262-2396 at least 24 hours prior to flying.
